It is a new year, and it’s cold in January. It makes me think about summer and vacation.
I grew up on the east coast and spent many summers vacationing in North Myrtle Beach. It has become the place I love to go to relax, to sit in the surf, to find some inner peace. In fact we drove over 1000 miles round trip for our honeymoon just to go to North Myrtle Beach.!
Now that our family has grown, it’s more expensive to travel to South Carolina, but we manage to take the family whenever possible. North Myrtle Beach is the go to vacation place for our family. There is nothing to me like sitting in the sand reading, or riding the waves on a boogie board. For the last few years we have been staying at this beachfront condo in in North Myrtle Beach. It easily sleeps 8 and sits right on the beach. You can sit on the patio and watch the sunrise over the ocean while eating breakfast or just relax.
Since North Myrtle Beach is my personal place of zen, I’ll share our favorite things to do from time to time. Where do you like to vacation and why?
